I am running in a race to raise monies for the Chicago Police Memorial Fund. I come from a long line of Chicago Policemen. My great grandfather, Thomas Edward Tighe was a Chicago Policeman, and so was grandfather, Matthew Vincent Murphy. Tragically, my great grandfather was killed in the line of duty.
